Statistics Canada has released results from the 2025 Survey on Early Learning and Child Care Arrangements, focusing on trends in parental expenses and the difficulties families face finding care. The survey’s 0-to-5 cohort represents about 2.11 million children across Canada, making it one of the richest sources of evidence for program leaders and advocates tracking how the system is working for families.
