National Workforce Policy Table releases roadmap for raising educator qualifications

The National Early Learning and Child Care Workforce Policy Table — a group of early childhood education experts and practitioners convened through Child Care Now’s Educators Matter project — has published A Vision and Roadmap for Increasing Educator Qualifications in Licensed Child Care Centres. The publication calls on governments to put strategies in place to raise the formal education qualifications of those working in licensed centres, alongside proper compensation and support.
