$47 million in federal funding for Indigenous early learning quality improvement projects

The federal government launched its fourth call for proposals for Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care Quality Improvement Projects, with nearly $47 million available for approved projects starting in 2026–27. First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, governments and organizations were invited to submit applications by March 25, 2026, supporting innovation and culturally grounded quality in Indigenous-led programs.
